Finally the car is painted! We finished the priming the weekend before last, and took it into the spraypainters late last week to receive a few coats of Nissan/Datsun Classic White. Turned out we didn't do a bad job of the panelbeating and prep work, though of course there are the inevitable couple of bits that were missed. Nothing major though.

The reassembly was started last weekend and so far is going well, only a few bolts and screws were missing and needed to be replaced. The front bumper is shocking though, so we will have to find a replacement somewhere.

The car should be back together by this weekend, and then it will be a couple of weeks before the motor goes in. There may be a few surprises in this department though, nothing has been finalised yet but we'll keep you posted!
