Update 15th April 2004

After about 4 months off the road, the 1600 is finally back in business! The main hold-up was trying to source a replacement CA18, as I decided not to rebuild the existing motor due to the cost. I finally picked one up for a very good price and my mate Jamie installed it for me in 2 days which was a great effort! All running fine now and I even have the ECCS badge which was missing on the old motor.

I also managed to get some new wheels - they are 5 spoke 16's and look so sweet compared to the TRX rims which were on it after I stole the Sigma turbo rims off it for the 1200. So now there's a certain red RX7 sitting on stands. ;) (thanks Dave).

Below are some pics of the new engine, wheels and the two dattos finally together - I will take some nice ones with the new 1600 wheels when I can be bothered giving them both a clean and polish.
